BAFTA Games Awards 2024: Full winners list as Baldur's Gate 3 wins big (2024)

The BAFTA Game Awards 2024 have been and gone and we've got all the winners and nominees listed to see who won big in what was an incredibly competitive year.

For those who have paid attention to other awards shows, you may not be too surprised to see the usual suspect Baldur's Gate 3 being the big winner of the night with 5 awards, but Alan Wake 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder also had respectable showings too as well as indie title Viewfinder.

It was certainly a night of glitz, glamour and of course, games. But special attention was given to the extreme difficulties facing the tens of thousands of developers across the globe who have been laid off.

Tribute too was paid to those in the industry who have unfortunately passed away in recent memory with Remedy Interactive sweethearts Poets of the Fall playing a poignant rendition of "Late Goodbye".

The BAFTA Games Awards 2024 took place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre in London. If you managed to score a ticket, we're green with envy!

However, it was of course streamed too. You can watch the BAFTA Games Awards 2024 on BAFTA's YouTube channel.

When is the BAFTA Games Awards 2024?

The BAFTA Games Awards 2024 event took place on Thursday 11th April 2024. The main event started at 7pm BST for viewers in the UK.

We can't wait to see who makes it in 2025, and when the announcement of nominees is made, we will update you with all the facts and when to watch the auspicious event.

Who is hosting the BAFTA Games Awards 2024?

The BAFTA Games Awards 2024 host was comedian Phil Wang, known not only for his stand-up but his appearances on panel shows like Have I Got News for You and Taskmaster.
